Bournemouth Fireworks

First Stop Security provide it's services to Bournemouth's weekly Fireworks display on Fridays nights throughout the Summer. The fireworks are an annual feature of the Bournemouth seafronts entertainment calendar.

Aprox 5,000 people travel to watch the fireworks off the end of the pier, there has been a great atmosphere, with mostly familys visiting the event.

This is the second year FSS have been providing event security and stewarding and are really pleased to have such a good working relationship with and on behalf of Bournemouth Borough Council.

Mixed Martial Arts at the Lighthouse in Poole

First Stop Security provided event security and front of house security to the Lighthouse in Poole for the first ever mixed martial arts event in the area held on the 9th August.

Every fight was in a 24ft octagonal cage, with full pro rules. UFC star Mike 'The Count' Bisping was there with fellow UFC star Paul Kelly.

The event ran very smoothly and First Stop Security were extremely pleased to be involved with the first event and hope to be working alongside Jordon Miller again for the next of his events.

O2 Scrum on the Beach

First Stop Security provided its security services to the O2 Scrum on the Beach both in 2008 and in 2009. First Stop security provided player escort and player protection to the England squad visitors, whilst the general public were allowed to meet the England players and pick up some tips, play beach rugby or watch it live on the big screen that captured all the action, spectators were invited to test their skills at the O2/RFU Play Zone. Everyone was invited to visit the O2 Blueroom with its free food and drinks, all were invited to enjoy beach games or just sit back and listen to the DJs while chilling out with a barbecue by the sea.

O2 scrum of the beach is now part of the Summer of Rugby and First Stop Security were pleased to provide its services to the RFU and O2.

The 2008 & 2009 Entrepreneurs Bootcamp

The 2008 Entrepreneurs Bootcamp was held at the Brighton Centre and attracted an attendance of over 4,000 delegates, it also raised over £468,000.00 for Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK. The 2009 Entrepreneurs Bootcamp was held at the London O2 Arena and managed build upon the success of the previous year and draw in a record attendance of over 8,000 delegates.

Award Winning Marketer Andrew Reynolds organized the event and flew in 13 marketing entrepreneurs from Europe, Australia and the USA to give their time, entrepreneurial expertise and training free to all the attendees at the 3 day event. Their generous support further enhanced the fundraising efforts of the Bootcamp event.

1st Stop Security supplied the personal security to Mr Reynolds for the whole weekend at both the 2008 and 2009 events, this was a fantastic opportunity to be involved in events in aid of such a good cause, we feel extremely privileged to be able to assist in ensuring the safety and smooth passage of Mr Reynolds during his appearance at these events.

J P Morgan

In conjunction with Funny Bone Events, 1St Stop Security provided the security for JP Morgan’s 4th of July celebration. There were approximately 2,500 JP Morgan Staff in attendance for this outdoor event, several marquees were also erected which added to the feeling of summer. During the evening there was a free bar and free food for all staff on the night.

We were very excited to be asked to cover the security for this event as J P Morgan are a worldwide prestigious company.

Bournemouth University - Summer Ball

First Stop Security once again provided it's services to The Annual Bournemouth University Summer Ball on Saturday, this followed a very successful weekend previously at the Bournemouth rugby 7s organised by Diamond Sports Events. It was glorious weather for both events that were held at Chapel gate sports ground, approx 5,500 student partygoers attended the event making the most of the atmosphere and dancing to a great line of acts and performers on stage.

The event continued way into the early hours of the morning, at which point thousands of happy but tired students made their way from the Uni ball and down to Bournemouth seafront where they attended what is known as the survivors party. First Stop Security were also at the beach where they made sure the revellers stayed safe. First Stop Security enjoy a good working relationship with Bournemouth University and look forward to providing their services for many more years to come.

Hubworld

'A spectacular two-day arts and cultural festival on Alum Chine beach, Bournemouth, created by young people working with artists and performers. Celebrating the Bournemouth and Poole Cultural Hub 2005-2008.'

Happening on Friday 20th, and Saturday 21st June. The Friday is a schools focused day with a major procession of children and young people and their teachers, parents and families, leading down through the chine to the beach, to large-scale structures, performances and activities. Maximum of 2500 people expected. The Saturday is more open to the public, and will continue into the night with dancing on beach. Maximum of 2500 expected in day, and up to 3000 for evening event. These approximate numbers do not take into account public already on the beach/ beach goers.

Bournemouth Rugby Sevens

First Stop Security provided its services to Bournemouths International Rugby, netball and music festival, Rugby Sevens from the 28th - 30th May 2010.

The event attracts over 20,000 people over the course of the 3 days, held at the superb sports ground next to the Bournemouth International airport.

This was the 3rd year we have been involved and the festival has grown from strength to strength, fun was had by all that attended and we received some great feedback from the festival participants.

First Stop Security were delighted to be requested to supply our security services again and we are looking forward to next year.
